Vacco Serves as Guest Speaker at New York State Farm Bureau Event Regarding Solar Energy Arrays

BUFFALO, NY – Dennis C. Vacco, a partner at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, was a guest speaker at a meeting hosted by the New York Farm Bureau titled “Leasing Your Land for Solar Energy.” The meeting was held at the Wyoming County Agricultural Business Center (36 Center St., Warsaw) on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at 7 p.m.
The meeting was primarily for farmers and rural landowners who are considering leasing land for large, multi-acre solar arrays, as well as those who work with landowners. Topics covered included the pros and cons of leasing acreage to a solar generator and agricultural assessment of farmland as it relates to leasing.
Mr. Vacco is a former New York State attorney general and focuses his practice on government investigations and compliance with the complex and ever-changing rules of the state and federal governments.
Mr. Vacco is also vice president of Vacco Farms, Inc., and a member of the New York Farm Bureau.
The mission of the Wyoming County Business Center is to provide opportunities for business growth by promoting and assisting economic development projects that result in capital investment and job creation and retention in Wyoming County.
