BUFFALO, NY –Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP is pleased to announce that Amy Honan, a legal assistant at the firm, has been appointed to the WNY Paralegal Association’s Board of Directors (WNYPA).
Ms. Honan is joining the Association’s Board of Directors as the Director of Technology, a position created this year to improve the Association’s online presence. As the Director of Technology, she will be updating and managing the website and implementing the Association’s social media activities.
The Western New York Paralegal Association, Inc. (WNYPA) is a voluntary, nonprofit association formed in 1976 to promote the professional development and continuing legal education of paralegals in the Western New York area. The Association seeks to maintain high ethical standards for paralegals, educate the Western New York legal and business communities in the effective utilization of paralegals, and promote awareness of the role of paralegals within the legal system.
Ms. Honan earned her M.S. in Library Science from the University at Buffalo and assists attorneys with trial preparation, in rem foreclosures, tax certiorari and general litigation. Before joining the firm in September 2015, Ms. Honan was a legal assistant at Mosey Persico.
