Koroghlian-Scott, a health care lawyer and partner with law firm Lippes Mathias, helped clients — hospitals, physician groups, mental health providers, billing companies, private practitioners and a telehealth tech company — navigate the changing laws and regulations that came with emergency orders during the pandemic.
Many of those clients and their patients have experienced a lot of benefit in telemedicine, which they would like to keep, she said. Now, with the end of emergency orders on the horizon, Koroghlian-Scott is working with clients on continuing to navigate changing regulations while being able to maintain the use of telemedicine.
