Siegfeld, partner and team leader of the firm’s trusts and estates practice team, has been appointed to serve on the Hospitality House Therapeutic Community Board of Directors. Hospitality House is a long-term residential program licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). Specializing in individuals with chronic relapse conditions and those involved with the criminal justice system, their unique and intensive program integrates key evidence-based principles of treatment and recovery, together with multiple treatment phases that slowly reflect the increased levels of personal and social responsibility of its clients. Hospitality House has consistently achieved long-term recovery and sobriety for many of its clients.

David E. Siegfeld, a partner at Lippes Mathias LLP and the firm's trusts and estates practice team leader, has been practicing law since 1996. David began his professional legal career as an assistant attorney general in the charities bureau concentrating in the area of trusts & estates and not-for-profit law. David currently counsels businesses and individuals on a wide range of business transactional and planning matters, commercial and residential real estate transactions, estate litigation, planning & probate matters, as well as business succession planning. David’s expertise has been recognized by local surrogate’s court Judges who have called upon him to assist in complicated estate litigation and probate matters on behalf of incapacitated individuals. While devoting most of his free time to raising his young family, David also sits on the board of directors and is the annual campaign chair and chair for the United Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York's Board of Directors.
