BUFFALO, N.Y. – Lippes Mathias is pleased to announce its participation in the University at Buffalo School of Law’s Discover Law Undergraduate Scholars Program. A Lippes Mathias Scholar was named at the program’s opening ceremony on June 4 and will be given access to a four-week virtual program where students will take rigorous courses taught by law professors, enjoy virtual networking with law firms and lawyers from across the country, learn about the law school admissions process, and gain a number of skills that will position them for success in their pursuit of a career as an attorney. The firm will also host the program’s 20 scholars for lunch and a tour of its office in the coming weeks. 

About the University at Buffalo’s Discover Law Undergraduate Scholars Program 

Recognizing that there is a shortage of historically underrepresented students entering the field of law, the School of Law created the Discover Law Undergraduate Scholars Program to provide an immersive experience for undergraduates interested in pursuing a career in law, expose students to critical thinking and help them develop reading and analytical skills, and provide an in-depth and thorough experience in a four-week residential summer program.
