JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –Lippes Mathias is pleased to announce that Adam B. Edgecombe, Counsel with the firm, has been appointed to the City of Jacksonville’s Public Nuisance Abatement Board. Consisting of nine members, the Public Nuisance Abatement Board will work to address and reduce nuisance activities and/or nuisance conditions that disrupt quality of life and repeatedly occur or exist at properties located within the City of Jacksonville. Appointed by Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, Adam will serve a three-year term with the board with the ability to serve two successive full terms.

Adam’s practice focuses on business litigation, with an emphasis on commercial litigation, construction litigation, landlord-tenant issues, and creditors’ rights. In addition, he has broad experience in residential and commercial lease negotiations and disputes; construction issues, including successfully resolving pre-suit construction lien issues for both construction professionals and property owners, lien enforcement, and contract disputes between contractors and subcontractors; business disputes and litigation; and representation of condominium and homeowners’ associations, including preservation and prosecution of lien rights and foreclosure defense.
