BUFFALO, NY- The Buffalo law firm of Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP reached an agreement to lease additional space at its current location, 665 Main St., Buffalo.
The firm took over more than 4,400 sq. ft. of space on the second floor, on Sept. 1. The new space includes 11 offices and additional conference room and cubicle space. The new footage adds to the firm’s principle space on the third floor of the building, which it has occupied for ten years.
Managing Partner Scott E. Friedman said the move to secure additional space was necessitated by what has been a robust growth period for the law firm, which will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2015.
“We have added seven attorneys to our staff in 2014 and we are continuing to seek talented, passionate practitioners to join our firm,” he said. “That growth, coupled with the addition of several members to our administrative staff, created a need to acquire additional space.”
Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman has 47 attorneys serving in a wide-range of practice areas, with a growing focus on business law, healthcare, banking and finance, and litigation.
Former New York State Attorney General Dennis C. Vacco, a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, said the growth is strategic and client-driven.
“We see a tremendous opportunity to serve new clients not only in Buffalo, but across the state and beyond,” he said. “Additionally, as our current clients grow their businesses, we want to make sure we are growing along with them to meet their needs.”
