BUFFALO, N.Y. – February 19, 2021 – Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP announced that Benjamin T. White has joined the firm as a senior associate.  

Based in Lippes Mathias’ Buffalo office, Ben brings extensive experience in the sports, entertainment and hospitality industries. Prior to joining the firm, Ben served as assistant general counsel for Pegula Sports & Entertainment, LLC, a sports and entertainment management company for multiple professional sports organizations and entertainment properties, including the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits, Rochester Americans, Rochester Knighthawks, KeyBank Center and BlueCross Arena at the War Memorial.

Ben will serve as team leader of Lippes Mathias’ newly-formed Sports, Entertainment and Hospitality Practice Team, which will assist clients in the sports, entertainment, and hospitality industries with a variety of matters including the formation and sale of sports, entertainment and hospitality properties, drafting and negotiating sponsorship agreements, naming rights agreements, stadium and arena license agreements, real estate and financing transactions, labor and employment matters, intellectual property, and athlete and talent immigration matters.  The team is comprised of attorneys from the firm’s Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate, Employment, Litigation, Intellectual Property, and Immigration Practice Teams.
