BUFFALO, NY – Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP is pleased to announce that Joseph P. Heins and Mark C. Davis, attorneys at the firm, have been appointed to the Erie County Citizens’ Budget Review Commission.
The Erie County Citizens’ Budget Review Commission was established to assist and advise the Erie County Legislature in the oversight of the County’s budget and to monitor county finances in order to ensure the long-term fiscal stability of Erie County. Mr. Heins and Mr. Davis will serve on the eleven member Commission which is charged with submitting an annual report to the Legislature.
Joseph P. Heins concentrates his practice on commercial real estate, including leasing, sales and acquisitions, project development, financing and real property title matters. Mr. Heins has experience in the retail sector, representing developers, landlords and tenants of shopping malls and other retail establishments.
Mark C. Davis focuses his practice on commercial litigation and has extensive experience in both state and federal courts. He also represents businesses and municipalities on matters involving zoning or land use issues, Article 78 proceedings, claims of personal injuries, discrimination and civil rights violations.
