BUFFALO, NY – Thomas J. Keable, a partner with Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, is participating in the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada (AmCham Canada) Peel-Halton-Niagara Chapter’s upcoming cross-border speakers’ panel and networking event, Doing Business in the U.S. on December 6. The event is being held in collaboration with Halton Region Economic Development. Mr. Keable will present on “Hot Tips for Canadians Embarking on U.S. Activities: What You Need to Know to Avoid Wasting Time and Money.”
As the firm’s cross-border practice team leader, Mr. Keable focuses his practice on assisting Canadian businesses, lenders and individuals with U.S. legal matters, including the purchase and sale of businesses, representation of lenders and borrowers in structuring financings and negotiation and drafting of loan and security agreements; the structuring of entities; and the preparation of agreements for a wide variety of business transactions and situations. Mr. Keable also serves on the board of directors for AmCham Canada Peel-Halton-Niagara Chapter.
