BUFFALO, NY – Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP announced Carson R. Cooper, Courtney Donahue Tasner, Margaret A. Hurley, and Ryan V. Stearns have been promoted to senior associates at the firm.

Mr. Cooper focuses his practice primarily on Indian law and commercial litigation. He represents Indian tribes and tribally-related businesses looking to do business in Indian Country and has a broad range of experience representing tribes on matters involving Indian gaming regulatory work, tribal financing, and economic development.
Ms. Donahue Tasner concentrates her practice in all areas of estate administration proceeding, probate proceeding, trust administration, estate litigation and other related Surrogate Court proceedings. In addition, she handles matters concerning infant and adult guardianship proceedings.
Ms. Hurley concentrates her practice primarily in commercial and municipal litigation, contract disputes, commercial mortgage foreclosures, tax lien foreclosures and tax certiorari defense matters. She also handles real estate transactions and bond underwriting.
Mr. Stearns focuses his practice in the area of commercial real estate, including commercial leasing, sales and acquisitions, project development, financing and real property title matters. His experience includes representing regional and national developers, landlords and tenants of retail shopping centers, office buildings, airports, convention centers, restaurants and mixed-use properties nationwide.
