BUFFALO, NY – Carson R. Cooper, a senior associate at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, recently participated in the National Indian Gaming Association’s annual Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention held in San Diego, April 2, 2019. He served on a panel discussion titled “The Federal Wire Act: How the DOJ Memo Affects Tribal Gaming.”

The National Indian Gaming Association is a non-profit organization of sovereign tribal nations with other non-voting associate members representing organizations, tribes and business engaged in tribal gaming enterprises around the country. Now in its 35th year, the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention is the largest gathering of tribal leaders and casino executives in the country and the premier event for the Indian Gaming industry.

At Lippes Mathias, Mr. Cooper focuses his practice primarily on Indian law and commercial litigation. He represents Indian tribes and tribally-related businesses looking to do business in Indian Country.
