BUFFALO, NY – Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP Senior Associate and Amherst resident Joseph P. Heins has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Amherst Youth Foundation (AYF). The AYF is dedicated to wide variety of programs to benefit the youth of the Town of Amherst.
The mission of the AYF is to raise funds to deliver needed resources in the community, maintain and operate the Youth and Family Center, and support the development of services for children and families. The AYF hosts numerous community events, including their Middle School Nights, the Meat Raffle, Annual Gala and the Comedy Night, among many others.
At LMWF, Mr. Heins focuses his work in the area of commercial real estate, including leasing, sales and acquisitions, project development, financing and real property title matters. He has considerable experience in the retail sector, representing developers, landlords and tenants of shopping malls and other retail establishments.
In addition to serving on the Board of the AYF, Mr. Heins is a member of the the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and its Emerging Business Leaders, where he currently chairs the EBL’s Public Policy Committee.
