Margaret A. Hurley to be Guest Speaker at Seminar on “How to Purchase Tax Foreclosed Properties”

BUFFALO, NY – Margaret A. Hurley, an attorney at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, will be a guest speaker at a seminar hosted by Erie County Department of Real Property Tax Services titled “How to Purchase Tax Foreclosed Properties.” The seminar will be held at the Cheektowaga Senior Center (3349 Broadway, Cheektowaga) on Saturday, June 25, 2016, 9-11 a.m.
Ms. Hurley’s presentation will focus on the in rem foreclosure process, how to purchase foreclosed properties, and insights from investors who have participated in the process in the past.
Ms. Hurley concentrates her practice primarily in commercial and business litigation, contract disputes, commercial mortgage foreclosures, tax lien foreclosures and tax certiorari defense matters. She also handles real estate transactions and corporate formations.
The mission of Erie County Department of Real Property Tax Services is to ensure the equitable spread of real property taxes across Erie County and to assist the local assessment community in maintaining up to date real property tax maps and assessment data and to maximize the collection of real property tax dollars.
