BUFFALO, N.Y. - Michael G. Rossetti, Partner-in-Charge of Lippes Mathias’ Washington, D.C. office, presented during a panel at the National Indian Gaming Association’s Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention. The panel, titled “Surviving The Pandemic: The State Of Indian Country,” discussed the numerous impacts of the covid-19 pandemic on the tribal gaming industry, the ongoing post-pandemic recovery and more.
Michael, Lippes Mathias’ Indian Law Practice Team co-leader, focuses on advising tribal clients on economic development and Indian gaming, tribal governance matters, litigation matters, and the settlement of Indian water rights. He also lobbies on a broad range of tribal concerns, and advises clients on land use and other issues before the Department of the Interior, including the Bureau of Land Management, the Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Park Service. Additionally, Michael advises clients regarding state attorneys general issues and federal investigations.
