BUFFALO, N.Y. – Lippes Mathias today announced that Michelle L. Bouton, a skilled real estate attorney who advises buyers and sellers through every step of real estate purchase and sale transactions, has joined the firm as counsel.

Bouton, who has gained more than 20 years of experience counseling clients in the commercial real estate space, has a well-documented history of excellence in structuring and negotiating deals, drafting transaction documents, reviewing titles and surveys, and completing closings. With clients that also include landlords and tenants, borrowers and lenders, and corporations, Bouton is known for her consistent responsiveness, diligence, and efficiency in delivering strategic planning advice and practical-based solutions to complex issues.

Bouton graduated with her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in 1992, and in 1996, received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. Outside of her practice, she is extremely active in the community, serving as a member of the Town of Orchard Park Board of Assessment Review, the Alleyway Theatre Board of Directors, and the Erie County Bar Association’s Real Property Law Committee. In the past, Bouton has served as in-house counsel to a public company in the software technology industry and as a law clerk to the Honorable Amos C. Saunders of the Superior Court of New Jersey’s Chancery Division in Passaic County.
