BUFFALO, NY – Thomas J. Keable, a partner and cross-border practice group leader at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, to present to the Niagara District of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario as part of a professional development session on November 3. His presentation, “Cross-Border Activities – Recent Developments and Considerations,” will discuss a variety of legal and tax considerations that affect the U.S. activities of Canadian businesses and individuals and recent developments that impact those.
Mr. Keable focuses his practice on assisting Canadian businesses, lenders and individuals on U.S. legal matters, including the purchase and sale of businesses, representation of lenders and borrowers in structuring financings and negotiation and drafting of loan and security agreements; the structuring of entities; and the preparation of agreements for a wide variety of business transactions and situations.
