We have received confirmation from the E Visa Unit at the U.S. Consulate in Toronto, Canada that it is “unable to accommodate any request for an interview appointment” due to a change in provincial health guidelines for the Toronto region as of November 23rd. The Department of State began cancelling upcoming scheduled E visa appointments in Toronto at the end of last week, and has not provided any update as to when these services will resume or how they will allocate or reschedule interviews.
We will continue to monitor the situation and seek further clarity from the U.S. Consulate General in Toronto, and provide updates if and as they become available.
