Daniel D. Akel
Mr. Akel concentrates his practice on corporate and partnership law, including formation of corporations, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, and limited partnerships; preparation of business and commercial transaction agreements; partnership, shareholder and LLC operating agreements; employment, deferred and incentive compensation agreements; phantom stock plans; stock appreciation plans and related agreements; not-for-profit law; and mergers and acquisitions.
He also assists clients with the preparation of wills and revocable living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, and other estate planning documents designed to obtain the maximum tax advantages for the lifetime and testamentary transfer of wealth.
Mr. Akel focuses a portion of his practice on all types of real estate transactions, including contract preparation, closing services, leases, mortgages, and guarantees. Commercial real estate development, sales, acquisitions, exchanges (like kind tax-deferred 1031 exchanges), leasing, and commercial condominiums.
