Emily advises clients ranging from global leaders to individual and family businesses in a wide variety of industries, tailoring her strategy and approach to yield the best results. She has experience litigating complex commercial disputes in both New York state and federal courts including licensing, employment, construction, and commercial and residential real estate contracts.
She is experienced in all stages of litigation and overall case management including preparing complaints and motions, conducting legal research, coordinating discovery, negotiating settlements, and appeals. Among her skills is managing complex electronic discovery, including developing and implementing electronically stored information protocols and coordinating multi-faceted document review for large-scale document productions.
During law school at University of California College of Law, San Francisco (f/k/a UC Hastings), Emily worked in an intellectual property clinical program guiding biotechnology startups through the early stages of the intellectual property legal process and competed on the UC Hastings Moot Court team. She also worked as a legal assistant before going to law school.
