Bio
Jason Hill guides clients through complex real estate transactions that often involve multiple stakeholders. His practice focuses on the purchase, sale, lease, and development of commercial properties that include retail, industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, and vacant land developments. Jason supports clients throughout the entire lifecycle of their real estate ventures, from initial financing to final sale and property development. He also represents lenders and borrowers in the financing and restructuring of real estate loans, ensuring smooth transactions.
Jason frequently works with national title insurance companies and their insured clients, handling curative actions to resolve various title issues, including prosecuting and defending real property title disputes. His extensive network of national underwriters, surveyors, appraisers, and title litigation professionals in the title insurance industry uniquely positions him to find solutions for a wide range of title matters.
Jason’s experience includes coordinating the sale of a 2,400-acre real estate assemblage of 34 parcels owned by over 20 individuals and entities. He also successfully advised and assisted client with closing complex bridge loan financing for the development of a mixed-use community in downtown Jacksonville. Additionally, he recently represented the seller with the closing of a multi-million-dollar office campus comprising five buildings with multiple tenants.
Jason works cross-functionally with the firm’s Corporate and Banking & Financial Transactions Teams to assist clients in creating corporate entities for holding real property titles and guides them through the real estate aspects of business sales. He also collaborates with the Trusts & Estates Team on estate planning and probate issues and works closely with the Litigation Team to resolve title disputes, boundary issues, and other real estate-related litigation.
