Mr. Southard’s practice is centered around representing clients in a broad array of litigation practice areas. He focuses his practice on commercial and municipal litigation in both state and federal court, with an emphasis on contractual disputes, commercial real estate matters, and claims brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C § 1983. Mr. Southard also has experience practicing in the areas of employment law, personal injury, insurance defense, asset receivable litigation, and real property tax enforcement under New York Real Property Law Article 7. 
 
While in law school, Tom was the Symposium Editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy Board of Editors.
