Lippes Mathias has announced that Kristin L. Frank has joined the firm as counsel in its Albany office, where she will focus on representing public sector labor unions as part of the firm’s public sector labor team. 

Frank has more than a decade of experience in New York state government and politics, holding key roles in the New York State Senate and Assembly. Most recently, she served as chief counsel to the Senate Republican Conference, where she provided legislative and legal counsel, managed a team of attorneys and analysts, and oversaw daily operations. In this role, she was responsible for policy development, legislative drafting and negotiation, committee and floor operations, and litigation. 

Before serving as chief counsel, Frank was legislative director and counsel, working on legislation in multiple policy areas, including education, environmental, and public safety matters. 

She earned her J.D. from Albany Law School in 2011 and her bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University in 2008.
