BUFFALO, N.Y. – On December 15, 2020, Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP was pleased to announce the promotion of Thomas B. Hughes, Gregory T. Myers, and Tessa R. Scott to senior associates.

These promotions have been made to recognize each attorneys’ consistent, high quality performance and the contributions that each have made to Lippes Mathias’ continued growth and success. 

Thomas B. Hughes concentrates his practice on assisting clients with entity formation, restructuring, and dissolution; contract drafting and negotiating; corporate governance and compliance; and other general corporate matters. Tom is based in Lippes Mathias’ Buffalo office

Gregory T. Myers focuses his practice on representing public sector labor unions in matters involving contract grievances, disciplinary charges, and improper employer practices. Greg works out of Lippes Mathias’ Albany office.

Tessa R. Scott represents creditors against claims involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and other consumer protection statutes. Tessa also has experience with insurance litigation defense, including premises liability in the residential, commercial and municipal arenas. Tessa is based in Lippes Mathias’ Buffalo office.
