BUFFALO, NY – Scott V. Carroll, partner and chair of the healthcare practice team at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, recently presented to the Biomedical Acceleration and Commercialization Center (BACC) at Albany Medical College on “Intellectual Property Overview for Healthcare Startups.” The presentation was part of a 14-week course offered by the college in collaboration with Siena College intended for entrepreneurs, engineers, students and executives involved in biomedical innovation.
Mr. Carroll brings more than 18 years of experience in the healthcare and life sciences practice group to his clients. He has counseled various healthcare organizations on complex healthcare regulatory matters, corporate finance and mergers, acquisitions, investments and joint ventures and collaborations, as well as development, distribution and production agreements for pharmaceutical and medical device companies and research institutes.
