Alana M. Becker

Ms. Becker concentrates her practice on all aspects of corporate law, including mergers, acquisitions, securities offerings and related matters, private equity/venture capital, and corporate governance. 

Prior to joining Lippes Mathias, Ms. Becker worked as in-house counsel for Excellus Health Plan, Inc. where in addition to advising Senior Management on the legal aspects of business transactions, she was actively involved in drafting corporate governance documents and documents relating to corporate transactions and divestitures, as well as negotiating non-disclosure and data-use agreements. Her role also involved the review of mass-distributed corporate written communications, preparation and review of legal documents involving all affiliates and subsidiaries, and other communicative documents between the organization and governmental entities.
