Khalid Vrede, a member of Lippes Mathias’ Insurance Recovery, Counseling & Litigation Team, concentrates his practice on insurance coverage and counseling and assisting clients with risk and insurance matters. He has also represented clients in a range of business and civil litigation matters including contract disputes, employment claims, non-compete clauses, business torts, and business counseling. 

He earned his J.D. with a Specialization in International Legal Affairs from Cornell Law School, where he served as Co-President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, participated in Cornell's Asylum and Convention Against Torture Appellate Clinic, and was a member of the Federalist Society. Before attending law school, Khalid was a fellow in the New York Legal Education Opportunity Program through the New York State Judicial Institute at Pace University Elisabeth Haub School of Law.  

Before joining Lippes Mathias, Khalid was an attorney at Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP in Rochester, NY, and a large law firm in New York City.
