Khalil H. Williams is an attorney in Lippes Mathias’ Insurance Recovery, Counseling & Litigation practice team, where he focuses his practice on insurance coverage and counseling, and assists clients with risk and insurance matters.  

Khalil delivers practical, results-oriented solutions for clients. His experience spans various industries, including business and commercial litigation, labor and employment law, contract disputes, corporate governance, risk management, and business counseling.
 
Khalil earned his J.D. from SUNY University at Buffalo School of Law, where he served as Vice-President and Secretary of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and competed in the Northeast Regional BLSA's Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition. As a Student Attorney in the law school’s Civil Rights and Transparency Clinic, he advocated for government transparency and accountability and represented clients in protecting their civil rights and liberties.
 
Before attending law school, Khalil interned as a Mediator with the New York State Attorney General’s Consumer Frauds and Protection Bureau, where he mediated disputes between consumers and businesses and assisted with investigations. In addition, he was a fellow in the New York State Legal Education Opportunity Program through the New York State Judicial Institute and Pace University Elisabeth Haub School of Law. 

Before joining Lippes Mathias, Khalil was an attorney at Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP and Ward Greenberg Heller & Reidy LLP in Rochester, NY.
