Mark is an Enrolled Agent certified by the Federal Government to advocate for taxpayers in dealings with the Internal Revenue Service. With a diverse educational and business background, he brings a distinct and valuable perspective to our audit defense and collection teams, adeptly guiding clients through New York State and Federal civil audits and facilitating resolution of collection matters.
Mark's academic journey began at Canisius University, where he studied business law culminating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Buffalo State University. Prior to joining Lippes Mathias, Mark ran a successful automotive business for over 20 years, which gave him a unique understanding of the impact that Federal and State tax laws have on small and medium sized businesses. Combining his expertise in criminal justice, finance, accounting, and economics, Mark transitioned into a career devoted to aiding individual and corporate taxpayers.
