As a member of the firm’s Consumer Financial Services Litigation Practice Team, Ms. Scanlon assists clients with claims involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and other consumer protection statutes.
Prior to joining Lippes Mathias LLP, Ms. Scanlon had experience in municipal law which included assisting municipalities in defending against civil rights actions brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. She also has experience assisting clients in the defense of casualty and negligence matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, construction site accidents, and toxic tort cases.
