Ms. Rohde is a member of the firm’s Transportation Practice Team where she focuses on counseling clients in both the public and private sectors; engaging in the development and implementation of transportation policy, legislation, and regulation; as well as advising on transportation-related legal and regulatory matters. 
 
Prior to joining Lippes Mathias, Suzanne held senior positions in both the legislative and executive branches of the federal government, serving two Secretaries of Transportation and members of Congress, and served as professional staff to a member of the National Transportation Safety Board. In the private sector, Suzanne held positions with several transportation consulting and law firms, serving clients in the transportation industry. Additionally, she currently serves as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Policy for the American Bus Association, a non-profit trade association representing the private motorcoach and group travel industry. In both her private and public positions, she has successfully engaged government and industry representatives, built partnerships and coalitions, and advanced transportation safety and economic initiatives through the federal legislative and regulatory processes.
