Benjamin W. Goldberg, Luke M. Miller and Sarah E. Steinmann Admitted to Practice Law in New York State

Lippes Mathias is pleased to congratulate three of its attorneys—Benjamin W. Goldberg, Luke M. Miller, and Sarah E. Steinmann—who have been admitted to practice in New York State and have transitioned to the role of associate at the firm. 

Benjamin Goldberg is a member of the firm’s health law practice team, concentrating his practice on healthcare law and the representation of physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, as well as general business clients. He counsels healthcare-related businesses and their professional owners, as well as general business clients, regarding operational and transactional matters. Prior to joining Lippes Mathias, Goldberg gained experience at a Syracuse-based firm, CCB Law, concentrating his practice on healthcare law and the representation of healthcare professionals. Ben attended Albany Law School where he volunteered with the Immigration Law Society, participated in Moot Court activities, and focused on the areas of business and healthcare law. Before attending law school, Ben earned his masters in secondary education from Le Moyne College and taught English in the New York City public school system. 

Luke M. Miller, who is based in Lippes Mathias’ Clarence office and was recently admitted to practice in New York State, is a member of the firm’s insurance recovery, counseling & litigation practice team, concentrating his practice in insurance coverage counseling, assisting clients with risk and insurance matters, with an emphasis on drafting risk and insurance terms in commercial contracts and marshaling claims for insurance recoveries. Before joining Lippes Mathias, Miller gained experience at the University of Connecticut School of Law Tax Clinic, assisting tax clients with appealing assessments and negotiating payment plans and reduced liability. He also has experience with filings for probate, landlord-tenant, and debt collection matters. Miller graduated with his B.A. from Ithaca College and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. 

Sarah Steinmann is a member of the firm’s health law and Israel-U.S. cross border practice teams. In her healthcare practice, Steinmann counsels healthcare-related businesses and their professional owners regarding operational, transactional and compliance matters. Prior to joining Lippes Mathias, Steinmann gained experience at the Syracuse-based firm CCB Law, where she was involved in the representation of physicians, nurse practitioners, and other licensed practitioners. While in law school, Steinmann earned a Certificate in Transactional Law and Skills and was a competitive member and student coach of the Transactional Negotiations Team. She and her partner were Finalists in the LawMeets® 2020 M&A Boot Camp and winners of the competition’s Best Draft Award. She also ranked in the top ten percent of her class as an oralist in Legal Advocacy.
