Lippes Mathias was proud to host “Building Community by Committing to Diversity”, an Empire State Legal Diversity Career Fair panel conversation featuring Canisius College President Steve Stoute and Crystal Rodriguez-Dabney, senior vice president and chief diversity officer for Roswell Park, as speakers and Lippes Mathias partner Andrew M. Wilson as moderator.
Together, the group participated in a candid conversation discussing The Supreme Courtʼs decisions in SFFA v. Harvard and SFFA v. University of North Carolina effectively ending race-based affirmative action in higher education, and the wide-ranging implications for diversity efforts in employment and beyond.
Registered employers and sponsors of the Empire State Legal Diversity Career Fair and their guests were invited to attend the presentation, which Lippes Mathias hosted in its gathering space on the seventh floor of 50 Fountain Plaza.
