Press Releases
Lippes Mathias has named two longtime attorneys to newly created executive leadership roles, reinforcing its commitment to a supportive and well-resourced environment for its employees. Partner Andrew M. Wilson, a co-leader of the firm’s immigration practice team, has been appointed chief advisory officer (CAO), and Amy Habib Rittling, partner and employment practice team leader, has been named chief legal officer (CLO).
Wilson and Rittling will maintain their legal practices and will, in addition, collectively oversee 14 of the firm’s internal attorney-led committees, playing a key role in shaping firmwide policies, initiatives, and resources. As CAO, Wilson will manage internal firm groups and initiatives such as the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, Summer Associate Program, Pro Bono Program, and Mentorship Program. Wilson will also oversee and work closely with the firm’s director of attorney engagement, Danielle F. Dodman, to develop strategic initiatives for these committees. As CLO, Habib Rittling will oversee the firm’s legal issues and will manage the firm’s committees on Ethics & Conflicts, Legal Opinions, and Political Contributions.
These appointments bring Lippes Mathias’ C-suite to seven members. Wilson and Habib Rittling join Kevin J. Cross (chairman and managing partner), Lisa G. Decker (chief people officer), Thomas J. Gaffney (chief operating officer), Jennifer L. Greene (chief marketing officer), and Richard J. Rychlicki (chief financial officer).
“The creation of these roles is another step toward our goal of perfecting an environment where our employees can thrive,” Kevin J. Cross said. “Amy and Andrew are proven leaders who understand the needs of our attorneys and professional staff. Their guidance will be instrumental in ensuring our firm remains a place where talent can grow and succeed.”
Wilson and Habib Rittling will assume these additional roles effective immediately, working closely with firm leadership and internal committees to ensure all initiatives across the firm’s offices align with its core values and mission.
