Lippes Mathias Bolsters Jacksonville Office Capabilities with the Addition of Veteran Attorneys Patricia M. Dodson and Eugenia H. Donahoo

Lippes Mathias is pleased to announce that attorneys Patricia M. Dodson and Eugenia H. Donahoo have joined the firm as counsel in its Jacksonville office.
Dodson, with more than 30 years of experience in civil and criminal trials, government and constitutional law, nonprofit law, and corporate counsel, defends clients in civil and commercial litigation, personal injury, and employment discrimination cases. She also handles breach of contract, professional regulation and credentialing, and medical malpractice issues. Dodson has tried over 70 jury trials to verdict and numerous bench trials throughout her career.
Donahoo, a member of the firm’s employment practice team, advises clients on all aspects of employment relationships and practices, including hiring and screening processes, discharge and separation matters, wage and hour compliance, discrimination issues, and family, medical, and disability leave. She also helps employers negotiate and prepare executive and general-level employment agreements, severance agreements, and restrictive covenant agreements.
Patricia M. Dodson
Patricia M. Dodson, a 1989 graduate of the University of North Florida and a 1992 graduate of Nova Southeastern University School of Law, is active in the North Florida legal community. She is a member of the Florida Bar’s Trial, Labor & Employment, and Criminal Law Sections and chairs both the Code and Rules of Evidence Committee and the Grievance Committee. She leads the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Special Committee on Women in the Profession and the Professionalism Committee and serves on the Business, Corporate and In-House Counsel Committee. Dodson is also a Master of the Bench at the Chester Bedell Inn of The American Inns of Court Foundation and past president of the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association.
She has received numerous industry awards, including an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, a 2023 Women of Influence recognition from the Jacksonville Business Journal, and a Women Lawyer of the Year award from the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association.
In the community, Dodson is a board member and secretary of the Public Trust for Conservation and a member of the legal section of the Jacksonville Women’s Network.

Eugenia H. Donahoo
Eugenia H. Donahoo, a graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has practiced Labor and Employment law for many years, and also taught at Florida Coastal School of Law, where she chaired the Professionalism Committee. In the community, she serves on the Board of Visitors for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and as the Director of Engagement for St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
